We are happy and proud to welcome you to our Goodnoe Elementary School web page. 

In the tradition of the Council Rock School District we, at Goodnoe, are dedicated to providing the best possible guidance for our children.  This is achieved by bringing meaningful educational experiences into our school. 

Some examples of these experiences are an on-going Artist in Residence program funded by our active and supportive PTO.  Poets, authors, visual and performing artists are in all of our classrooms providing for our students an intimate, personal experience with the arts.  Assembly programs that bring the Franklin Institute, the Philadelphia Zoo, Native American Storytellers, Asian dancers and African drummers to our school enhance student learning.   Goodnoe School is the only elementary school in the Council Rock School District to have a student operated inner-school post office.   For a fifth year, second graders under the guidance of their teachers, collect, sort, cancel and deliver mail from our school mailboxes to our Wee Deliver Post Office. Students look forward to the bi-weekly letter deliveries, as well as writing letters to friends and school staff members. 

This is just a small sampling of the types of learning that enhances the academic structure of our school.  We work hard to broaden the outlook on education that we provide to our Goodnoe students.  Each year we marvel at the progress our students make in becoming well educated members of our community.
