Welcome back!

While teachers and students were hopefully taking advantage of some well-deserved summer rest and relaxation time; we have been busy here at South getting ready for the start of the new school year. We have hired some wonderful new teachers and are looking forward to a successful academic year.

The “pilot program” of having our students pick up their schedules and August mailing information went very well.  Over 75% of the students took advantage of this opportunity.

The following is a list of things that will be happening here at South for the month of September:

September 15           Parent Forum – Meet the Principals’ – 9:30 am –
Faculty dining Room

September 15           Back To School Night – 7:00 pm

September 17           Activities Fair – Main lobby – students are able to meet and talk to their fellow students about our clubs, activities and getting involved in the South Community.
