Dear Third Grader and Family,
I hope that you are enjoying a relaxing and fun-filled summer. I have been keeping very busy with outside fun, family time, and of course a lot of reading. I can’t wait to hear all about your summer fun on the first day of school!
I can’t wait to meet you "virtually" on September 8th and would like to welcome you to our third grade class. I have been working on our Google classroom and our physical classroom in B-19 to get it ready for the school year and hope that you will love it as much as I do!
I have also started planning many fun and exciting activities for the year. Third grade has so many wonderful, new learning experiences and I can’t wait to help you learn multiplication and division, write creative stories, discover new and exciting books, and learn organizational skills and how to prepare for tests. Make sure you take a look at our third grade supply list so you know what will be helpful to have for the year.
As the summer winds down, remember to relax and enjoy the lazy days. Go for a swim, get an ice cream cone, or sleep in late. I will also be resting up so I am ready to “be the best that I can be” on September 8th. Once again, welcome to third grade! Let’s work together to make this the best year ever!
