Maureen M. Welch

Dear Fourth Grade Students,

       Welcome to fourth grade!!  I am very excited to meet you.  I started my career at Rolling Hills Elementary School in Holland and then moved to Maureen M. Welch Elementary School when we first opened.  I have been enjoying my summer with my family.  Trevor is 24 years old and just moved to Boston to start his new job.   Courtney is 19 years old and is attending Penn State University.  I am sure that you are enjoying your summer vacation.  You will have time to share all your exciting news when we start the school year. 

       We are going to have so much fun this school year.  In language arts, we will be reading many wonderful stories.  You will also improve your writing skills during writing workshop.  In math, you will be learning more about multiplication, division, geometry, fractions, and so much more.  You will continue to work on your problem solving skills as well.  In science, you will become wonderful observers and team members.  In social studies, you will enjoy learning all about Pennsylvania and the United States.    

       Enjoy the rest of your summer!  I am looking forward to meeting you. I will see you soon!
