This fall Maureen M Welch welcomed two visiting authors:

Victoria Jamieson with 5th grade students at MMWEach week students come to the Library to hear stories and learn new skills that will help them to become lifelong, independent learners.
In addition to the Library Lesson for the week students are invited to choose book selections to be taken home. These books are meant to be kept for one week. Students may opt to renew a book or two if they need additional time to finish their selections.Book Selection at MMWChildren are encouraged to select books using the following guidelines:Select an "I READ" book -1st through 6th grades(one that can be read independently).Select an "I Share" book(one that children can read some of the words but will need to share it with someone older to read the entire book)Please note that kindergarten and first grade students will select one book of their choice.To read from your own Personal Electronic Device (PED) in school, click here to fill out the user agreement and return it to your homeroom teacher.To borrow a Playaway from the MMW Library fill out the permission slip and return it to the library.Reading Olympics Competition for 5th and 6th grade will take place during the week ofApril 1st or April 8th 2019Reading Olympics meetings will take place in the library at 8:15 on the following dates:January 7th, January 28th, February 4th, February 25th, March 4th, March 18th, April 8thFor the complete list of books on the Reading Olympics list click hereThis Website is currently under construction and some portions may not be activeClick on the links below for activities and games for fun
