Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Stefanie Wood
Welcome! My name is Stefanie Wood and I am looking forward to being your child's teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
We have a busy and exciting school year ahead of us!
I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Gwynedd Mercy College and my Masters in Special Education - Advanced Practice from Holy Family University. I completed a post master's certificate program in Behavior Analysis from the University of West Florida and in addition to being a classroom teacher for the past 15 years, I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Prior to joining the Council Rock team, I had the opportunity to teach in the autistic support programs at the Bucks Intermediate Unit and Centennial School District. I am excited to start my thirteenth year teaching in Council Rock School District and my fifteenth year teaching autistic support. My career in Council Rock began at Richboro Elementary teaching in our Autistic Support Program prior to our program moving to Holland Elementary School.
I am privileged to work with a fabulous team that includes our teaching assistants, Mrs. Karen Modes, Mrs. Barbara Roth, Ms. Kristine Sonnon, Mrs. Donna Worthington, and Miss Alexa Goldberger as well as our speech therapist, Ms. Kathryn Mireles, occupational therapist, Mrs. Tina Katsos, and physical therapist, Ms. Samantha Govitz. Together we make a fabulous team!
