Who is Erin Hunter? Erin Hunter is actually three people.  She is three children's book writers Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Victoria Holmes, who all live in England. Vicky makes sure the books stay on track with her story ideas then Kate and Cherith both take turns writing the books. To avoid confusing their readers by having books in the series end up on different shelves, they came up with a single name, Erin Hunter.
"Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having a great respect for nature in all its forms. Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior, shaped by her interest in astrology and standing stones."

    Victoria Holmes :
"I grew up on a farm and love all animals, including cats, but especially dogs and horses. I love being one of the Erins, and frequently dream of being a cat running through a forest when I am coming up with  new storylines. Teaming up with Kate and Cherith on the Warriors books is an unconventional way of working but we love writing the books together and it means we can produce them much faster than a single writer could. We love our favorite characters and ideas for what could happen next, which means the stories have three times as much energy and passion!"

"As a print and television writer, Alan has majored in silliness for more than 25 years.  During that time , he has written for many Emmy-nominated TV shows, several editions of the Grammy Awards and Tony Awards, Kids Are People Too, a slew of Nickelodeon projects including Whoopi's Littleburg, network specials, game shows, humorous essays for publication including the New York Times and the New York Daily News, and has created hundreds of comic books, trading cards and other special projects for kids and parents.  But Alan's  proudest achievement is the brilliance of Simone, Andrew, Nathan, and David, the children he and Rose "co-authored."  They have taken him to new heights of silliness, and the kids and their mom are the reason he is a happy man."  Alan and his family live in Connecticut.
