Plagiarism PolicyChildren at Newtown Elementary School are committed to academic integrity and respect for intellectual property. Plagiarism in any form, intentional or unintentional, is unacceptable in the work of students. Plagiarism is defined as representing someone else's intellectual property as your own. Students are instructed on how to cite sources from any format and how to correctly use someone's work as their own.

WORKS CONSUlTED FORMAT
A “Works Consulted” section must be included at the end of a research assignment. It will include the research materials you have used in preparing the assignment. Entries are arranged alphabetically. If there is no author, alphabetize by title. (Leave out the first words “a,” “an,” and “the” in alphabetizing titles.) The first line of each entry begins at the left margin. Each additional line needed for an entry is indented five spaces. Double-spacing should be used between lines of an entry and between entries.,
