Dear Third Grade Students and Families,

     My name is Mrs. Bonilla and I will be one of your third grade teachers this year! I hope you are enjoying a fantastic summer filled with many special memories. We are sure to have an exciting, engaging, and educational year in school!

      To tell you a little more about myself, I grew up in Yardley and attended the Pennsbury School District. I am a graduate of Penn State University, and I am completing my Master's degree at La Salle University. I hold Pennsylvania and New York certifications in both elementary and special education.  

This will be my sixth year as an elementary school teacher. I spent three years teaching in New York, where I taught both third and fifth grades. After moving back to Pennsylvania, I had the opportunity to teach fifth grade, kindergarten, and special education. I am delighted to be returning to the third grade classroom as I know it is a very special time for learning!  

      Along with teaching, I love to dance, travel, and play softball. Some of my favorite places to visit are Hawaii, Ireland, and Puerto Rico. This summer, I traveled to Hilton Head, South Carolina with my family. I enjoyed riding bikes, swimming, and spending time on the beach. My favorite part of the trip was seeing dolphins in the ocean!

     Once again, I am delighted to have you as part of our classroom community! I am looking forward to learning more about you! Third grade is sure to be a wonderful year filled with activities that support lifelong learning skills.  Enjoy the rest of the summer. I look forward to seeing you soon!
