Council Rock High School-South
Welcome to the South PTO/Parent Forum! We are an informal group that helps you stay up-to-date on issues that affect your high school student and the Council Rock School District. This organization is not like the PTO's at the elementary schools. We do not fundraise or solicit volunteers. We are simply a group of parents who wish to be informed and have input through our student's high school years. The PTO/Parent Forum is your connection to the High School administration and other parents. It is your way to stay informed, involved and included in what is happening at our high schools.
During the course of the school year we will hold three general meetings. These meetings provide an open forum for discussion about the issues faced in the high school. It is your opportunity to share thoughts and comments, or simply sit back and listen to what is happening at school and in our district. High school administrators are in attendance at all our meetings and other district personnel attend as needed.
In addition to our meetings, we sponsor programs to inform and educate parents on issues that are relevant and important to you, such as SAT preparation, College Admissions information, Mental Health Seminars, At-Risk Behaviors (internet safety, drug/alcohol use, sexual practices of teens), and more.
A schedule of meeting dates can be found on the CR South Website under the PTO/Parent Forum Navigation Tab (left hand side of the homepage).
The PTO communicates via email and our Facebook page (Council Rock South PTO). Our emails share relevant information about things happening within our school and school district as well as informative articles. To be placed on the list to receive South PTO messages, please send an email to email@example.com and include your name and the grade your student is in.I hope to see you at our meetings and look forward to keeping you informed about what's going on at the high school. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
