    Current Events Template - is the CE Template.
    Download it to your NMS drive and home computer. Keep a copy of the template.
    Everytime you turn in an assignment, name your doc using this format YYYYMMDD, for instance September 26, 2011 would be saved as "20110926.doc"
    This format will automatically file your current events assignments in order and make it easy to retrieve them.
     
    Standard Formats for works cited, all works cited should in HANGING INDENT:
    Web with an author:
     
    Last Name, First; "Title of article," web address (i.e. cnn.com), web site title (i.e. CNN.com), date published (29 JAN 2013), WEB, date accessed (30 JAN 2013) .
     
    Web without an author:
     
    "Title of article," web address (i.e. cnn.com), web site title (i.e. CNN.com), date published, WEB, date accessed.
     
    Newspaper or Magazine:
     
    Last Name, First; "title of article" name of paper or magazine, page number, PRINT, date of article
     
     
     
     
    Suggested websites for Current Events:
    CNN:  http://www.cnn.com/ (tends to be middle of the road to slightly on the Democratic side)
    Foxnews: http://www.foxnews.com/ (tends to be middle of the road to Conservative, pro-Republican)
    MSNBC: http://www.nbcnews.com/ (tends to Liberal, pro-Democrat)
    Drudgereport: http://www.drudgereport.com/ (some think it is Conservative but it is all over the spectrum and all over the world)
