GREENFIELD YOUTH FILM FESTIVAL:  The 4th Annual Greenfield Youth Film Festival will showcase the work of 26 high schools from all across the Delaware Valley (including Council Rock North). GYFF was established in 2008 as a partnership between the School District of Upper Dublin and the Greenfield Foundation. It affords students the opportunity to explore and share their voices through the art and craft of filmmaking as a storytelling medium. More than a film competition, it is also a first-of-its-kind learning experience for students, bringing together faculty from local universities and seasoned industry professionals, including Oscar, Grammy and Emmy winners to provide university-level instruction in both the artistic and technical approach to filmmaking. The competition culminates in an Academy-style awards night on Tuesday, May 1st at the Keswick Theater, Glenside, Pa. from 7-9 p.m. The event is open to the public, free of charge.
