• Explaining Behavior Notices

    What is a behavior notice?

Behavior notices are forms used when R.O.A.R.  rules are not being followed. They may be written by any staff member who observes the infraction.

    - The student's name
    - The date
    - The student's grade level
    - Which rule was broken: This step allows students to refect on our school rules and make connections between their actions and what we expect at Hillcrest.
    - A space for what occured
    - Who was affected: This step encourages students to realize that their behaviors do not occur in isolation.
