Hi Boys and Girls!
I am so excited to be your teacher this year! We will have a lot of fun in second grade! Please be ready to share a special summer memory on the first day of school. It can be an item to share or just something to tell all of us!
I spent a few days in Siesta Key, Florida this summer with my mom and my daughter and her friend. We stayed at Mrs. Wunder's sister's house! It was so much fun! My family also spent two weeks in Ocean City, New Jersey this summer. Ocean City and Disney are our two favorite places to go on vacation!
Below are some pictures of my family and pets. I have three children, all of whom you will hear a lot about throughout the school year. Alicia is 22 and she is a brand new teacher. She will be teaching 6th grade in Central Bucks School District. Brandon is turning 20 in a couple of weeks. He goes to college at Immaculata University. He plays on their basketball team. He's also an amazing golfer! Nathan is 14 and starting high school this year. He plays flag football, basketball, and does track in the spring. He's a busy kid!
We have a very sweet dog named Valor. We had to say goodbye to our older dog, Miley, this summer. That was hard for us because we loved her so much and we miss her. Valor made it a little easier with his doggy hugs and kisses! He turned 2 on August 6th. We also have a bearded dragon named Ozzie, a hamster named Ellie, a fish named Vincent and many hermit crabs. It's like a zoo around here!! There are some pictures below of Miley, Valor and Ozzie and also some family photos.
I can't wait to get to know all of you! We are going to have a GREAT year in second grade! :)
