Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kate Aquila

Mrs. Aquila has been the Instructional Support Teacher at Richboro Elementary School since 2014.  Before that, she taught fifth and first grades at RES for almost her whole career.  She loves being a part of the Richboro community and is so thankful to get to work with so many amazing kids and great families!

Mrs. Aquila graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in both American Government and Elementary Education, and she is currently working toward another degree in Educational Psychology through Edinboro University.  The best learning that she has ever done, though, has happened inside the walls of Richboro Elementary School (and her own home, too!)

Mrs. Aquila's own family includes her husband, Bill, her daughters, Elise (10) and Claire (4), and her son, Will (7).  She also has a cat, Butterscotch (3).  Together, they love to visit family- Pittsburgh, Vermont, and the Outer Banks are must-visits every year- as well as travel, read, cook, and spend time with friends and family.
