Homework

  • Math every night 

    Reading or Language Arts 

          -Reader's Notebook and/or Book Review

          -Collections reading or questions

    All tests and quizzes must be signed

    If a student does not complete a homework assignment.  A homework slip will be issued. If a student misses 3 assignments or more it may be reflected in his or her report card grade.

    -Meets Expectation = Fewer than 3 missed assignments

    -Approaching the Expectation = 3-4 missed assignments

    -Improvement Needed= 5 or more missed assignments

    Why homework?

    It helps students learn time management skills, organization and responsibility.

    Students are expected to copy their assignments into their homework books.
