We partnered with Wrightstown Elementary to share a fantastic book for a One Book TWO Schools program this fall! We hope you enjoyed the shared reading as a family!

Watch a time lapse as our students reveal THE WILD ROBOT for the first time!

Thanks to a grant from the Council Rock Education Foundation, our school loved participating in the One School One Book program in 2017 for the first time!

Kate diCamillo answers our question! "What do you want students to take away from Flora and Ulysses?"

What did this program mean for your family?

After our big kickoff assembly, each child received a copy of the same book.  A reading calendar was sent home, with ample time for your family to read the assigned chapters aloud together.  Research shows the importance and benefits of shared reading!

In school, classes had time to talk about the book, complete activities and participate in special events.  We had dress up days, theme days, trivia contests, prizes and more.  Before long, our entire school and community was talking about the same book at the same time!

Please click the link below for a presentation about the One Book program!  I hope you enjoyed sharing this fabulous book together.  We are hoping to do another One Book event next year!
