About Srta. Mason
Hola! My name is Kelly Mason and I am a Spanish teacher here at South! After finishing my studies at Bloomsburg Univeristy, I was a student teacher at South where I taught three different levels and become an involved member of the World Language Department. I loved my experience and I can't wait to continue my teacher career in the Council Rock District.
I have had many experiences in the Spanish culture that has prepared me to become a successful educator. I have spent time in Rosario, Argentina where I attended la Universidad del Centro Educativo Latinoamericano. I not only completed the program, but I also stayed with a host family that taught me many aspects of the Spanish culture that I have grown to love. After studying abroad and graduating from Bloomsburg University, I went on to teach at Neshaminy High School and then in the Central Bucks School District. I plan to share all of my experiences with my students and show them the world that is beyond the borders of the United States.
This year I will be teaching Honors 3 and 2. I have enjoyed each step of my teaching career and it has all proven to be well worth it. I want my positive attitude to create a learning environment where all students feel comfortable, safe and can reach their full potentail. I hope to make a difference in each student and share with them my passion for the Spanish language and culture!
