Kindergarten Sight words
Sight words are the most frequently used words in the English language. Many of these words do not follow decoding rules and, therefore, cannot be sounded out. Students who are able to learn these words by sight will establish a good foundation for beginning reading and writing skills. We will practice these words in school through classwork, reading practice and homework.
