Mrs. Blauvelt's Welcome Letter
Welcome to THIRD GRADE! I am very much looking forward to meeting you and your families. This will be my sixth-year teaching and my first year at Newtown Elementary and in Council Rock!
As a teacher, it is very important that our classroom makes your child feel safe and included. We will be working on being respectful to our classmates and those around us while also learning and gaining responsibility. Every student has unique gifts and personalities and I can’t wait to watch them flourish this year.
This year we will be learning about our Newtown community, geography, multiplication and division, plants, writing skills, and growing as an independent reader while gaining new vocabulary!
I am looking forward to meeting you at the “Meet and Greet” on August 29th from 2:30-3:30 in E4. If you are able, please stop in and say “hello” to meet me and some of your classmates!
Third grade is going to rock :)
