• Attention: For Distance Online Learning.  It is the goal of the P.E. staff to keep our students as physically active as possible during the time away from school.  According to the American Heart Association, it is recommended that middle school aged student’s perform 30-60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per day.  With those guidelines in mind and while managing the challenge of a closed school, the PE department is offering the following in lieu of traditional in-person P.E. class all workouts and assingments will be posted on Canvas along with Google Meet links.

Below you will see a link called "PE Home Workouts".  This website offers over 1,000 workouts that are age appropriate, require little and in most cases no equipment, and most importantly can be completed at home.  During students absence from class, the PE staff asks that our students complete one workouts similar to these listed for every PE class.  These workouts can be completed at home in little time.  As a way to measure workout completion, we ask that students fill out the attached “Workout Chart”.  These Workout Charts will be located on student's PE Canvas Course.  This chart gives the students the opportunity to record the date of the workout completion, the name of the workout, and a required parent signature verifying completion.  We appreciate your efforts and patience during this time.  If you have any questions please email me at nsalome@crsd.org
