    In order to give families access to more extensive resources we would like to encourage all students to sign up for a FREE Bucks County Library card ( YES even kindergarteners!). This will allow students to access digital resources such as BookFlix, digital picture books and chapter books. While some digital resources are available through the MMW library, and we are continuing to add digital sources to MMW, we do not have the extensive collection of authors and illustrators provided by the BCFL. The link to sign up for your students’ ecard (library card) is below along with the parent steps of “how to”. 

    Steps involved:

    • parents fill out form online
    • parents will receive an email with card number and will have access to all online resources 
    • the library calls the parent when the physical card is ready to be picked 
    • parents must go to the library during curbside pick up hours to pick up the card (we are still curbside only) – there is a 3 month window

     *NOTE: If your student has a library card they can get a PIN number from the BCFL and no additional card is needed*

    FAQ's:

    • Q:What if I have a library card and forgot my PIN number?
    • A:If the  student has a library card and forgot their PIN number, then they can go to the website (https://buckslib.org/)
      • click on My Account in the top right
      • click on Request PIN in the middle
      • enter their library card number (ID) in the text box
      • and then click Send
      • a PIN number should be e-mailed to the address on account file. 
    • Q:What if I If I cannot find my library card or I no longer have access to that e-mail address?
    • A:You can call the libray but you may to stop by any branch that is convenient for you and speak to their help desk.
    • Q:What if I need a replacement library card?
    • A: I believe you have to go to the library for a replacement card. BUT, please call first so you do not waste a trip.
