Application for National Business Honor Society

Council Rock High School North Chapter of the NBHS 2023-2024

The National Business Honor Society (NBHS) is an academic honor society that helps to recognize business students at the high school level. NBHS recognizes outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service of students who are interested in pursuing a career in business.  The New Council Rock High School North Chapter was formed in the Spring of 2022.

General Requirements

To qualify for active membership, a student must be a high school junior or senior and must have two completed business courses, and be currently enrolled, in their third business education core course. The student must have a minimum standard GPA, on a 4.0 scale, as follows: business courses average-3.5; overall average-3.0. NBHS students will receive honor cords to be worn at graduation.

• Do not be modest. The faculty will consider all the information as part of the evaluation process.
• Completion of this form does NOT guarantee selection.
• All information will be verified by committee for accuracy.

• October 31                            Applications due to Mr. Sherpinsky or Ms. Olson
• Nov-Dec 2023                        Faculty Committee Review
• November 14, 2023               Notifications of Acceptance into the NBHS Council Rock High School Chapter
• November 30. 2023               Fall Induction Ceremony and Meeting after school and NBHS Expectations (must attend)
• December 19, 2023               Last day to pay $20 membership dues
• April 1, 2024                          Spring Applications due to Mr. Sherpinsky
• April 20, 2024                        Spring Notifications of Acceptance into the NBHS Council Rock High School Chapter
• April 28, 2024                        Spring Induction Ceremony and Meeting after school and NBHS Expectations (must attend)  
• May 5, 2024                           Last day to pay $20 membership dues
