DHP's (Daily Homework Plans) are a guideline to focus your reading. DHP's are designed so the student will read the material from the textbook in a timely manner, leaving enough time for an adequate review of the material prior to the unit test. The reading assignments are not necessarily scheduled to match what will be covered on a given day in class. Lecture and class work are more fluid. It is suggested that the student be an active reader, meaning that they should be taking notes as they read.
