This school year we will continue to develop and build upon the skills that were established during the 2017/2018 school year. I believe that effective teaching begins with the learning environment. It is my goal to create a learning community where students feel safe, are encouraged to take risks, and feel comfortable to learn. The curriculum will include a variety of high-interest learning tasks that embrace the individual needs and learning styles of all the students, recognizes and celebrates diversity, and incorporates each student’s interests and talents.
