    Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW)

    Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) is a one-of-a-kind summer program that offers in-coming high school juniors and seniors a unique and challenging opportunity to see what it is like to run their own business. Participants will make up an "imaginary" management team where they will learn first-hand about the Free Enterprise System. Their task - turn their failing company into a financial success! They will develop their own marketing strategies, design a website, and in essence, make all of the decisions that are demanded of real-life company executives.

    NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation

    The Young Entrepreneur Foundation offers scholarships to people who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and initiative.  The scholarships are valued between $2,000 and $15,000.  Applicants must be seniors.
    The BizInnovator Competition offers cash prizes between $500 and $1,500 to high school students who can pitch an idea for a new business.  Competitions are held in the spring and the fall. 

    PA Association of Educational Office Professionals (PAEOP)
    Each year the PA Association of Educational Office Professionals (PAEOP) offers the Hermine Solt Student Scholarship which is a $500 scholarship for a Pennsylvania High School senior who is pursuing higher education in a business-related field (secretarial, office technology, accounting, business education).     The Citizens Scholarship is giving away $2,500 every month to high school seniors, students taking gap years, and college students. If you don’t win one month, you could win next month and you’re automatically entered for the annual grand prize of $15,000. Additionally, each quarter a student who meets the required criteria for the Minority Scholarship Prize will be eligible to win a $2,500 quarterly prize. No essay, report card or transcript required! Students or their parent or guardian may apply.
