The American Red Cross
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds, and provides emotional support to disaster victims; supplies approximately 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that relies on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to carry out its mission.
Council Rock has selected the American Red Cross as the district charity for the current school year. Look for opportunities to donate blood at local drives held throughout the school year.
