2024-2025 Real Estate Tax Information

  • The 2024-25 millage rate is 140.7732 mills (decimal format = .1407732)
  • School District Real Estate Tax bills are mailed to homeowners each year by July 1.
  • Property owners that do not receive their tax bill are responsible to contact their tax collector to obtain a copy (see contact information above). The state law is very clear that failure to receive the tax notice does not relieve you from payment of penalties.
  • Schedule for payment of current year real estate taxes:
    • Payments made by August 31 allows for a 2% discount
    • Payments made from September 1 thru October 31 must be made at the face amount of the tax bill
    • Payments made from November 1 thru December 31 must include a 10% penalty in order for the tax bill to be considered paid in full
    • Tax bills that remain unpaid on January 1 will have a lien filed against the property with the County of Bucks
  • There is a provision for three installment payments of taxes. See tax bill for details.
  • The tax office expects to have a higher call volume than normal for the month of July.  Please be patient as we work with each resident in the order in which we receive their call.  If you are able, please email your request/questions to taxoffice@crsd.org or use the Quick Reference Guide below for more information.
  • Quick Reference:
    • PLEASE NOTE: Council Rock School District does not accept Real Estate or Occupational Tax payments.  Please send all payment to your Township Tax Collector.
    • Delinquent notices from Keystone Collections Group need to be rectified with that company.  The CRSD Tax Office does not have access to their records to provide or update information.  Please reach out to them directly at 1-866-539-1100.
    • If you have moved out of CRSD, please provide us with ONE of the following items to be removed from the tax rolls.  Please keep in mind, all documentation needs to show an address outside of CRSD as of July 1st for the year you would like to be removed from and we WILL NOT accept any other forms of documentation.
      • Driver’s License or State ID
      • Voter’s Registration Card
      • Tax Return
        • State, Local or Federal will be accepted (NOT a W2).
        • We need to see the page with your name and address outside of the district; all other information (such as earnings and SSN) can be blocked out.
    • If you have retired, had a change in job classification, are a full-time student or are temporarily unemployed, please refer to the “Occupational Tax” tab in the menu to the left (under “Real Estate and Occupational Tax”) for directions on how to make those adjustments.
