YBTC is an innovative academic competition that engages grade 5-8 students in learning about important chemistry concepts, scientific discoveries, and laboratory safety. Challenge competitions are exciting events that take place across the country, encouraging the collaboration of industry members, schools, and community organizations, as together, they educate students about the value of science education and the role of chemistry in their everyday lives.

2025 Delaware Valley Science Fair Student Researchers

This April more than 50 students from CR North and South, Holland and Newtown MS and Wrightstown ES, presented their original scientific research at the Delaware Valley Science Fair, which required the students to first qualify at the Bucks County Science Research Competition. See the list below for all participants and their area of research.

The highly competitive fair includes student researchers from 19 counties in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. Additionally, all junior and senior participants earn a scholarship for Harrisburg University of Science and Technology ($1500/year) for 4 years
