HOMEBOUND INSTRUCTION

 

Administrative Regulations for Homebound Instruction are as follows:

1.  Individuals employed as Homebound Instructors by the Council Rock School District will be required to be current district employees and approved by the District Board of Directors.

2.  As such, all current district employees as well as certified professionals on the District Substitute Teaching list are eligible  as Homebound Instructors.

3.  Council Rock School District may also hire a PSERS retiree if no other appropriate certified teacher or other personnel are  available within the required subject or work area.  The district is expected to make a “good faith” effort to secure non-retired personnel first before hiring a PSERS retiree.
