The Department of Information Technology at Council Rock School District consists of professionals dedicated to the technology systems and processes necessary to support the education of the District's students.
A dedicated staff of ten employees supports approximately 13,500 users on a daily basis, and provides support for over 5,000 computers; over 100 servers; over 300 access points, over 212 switches; and well over 200 printers and copiers.
The District is connected via a fiber network, operating at 1 GB between buildings, and providing a 300 MB pipe to the Internet.
