• Dear Class of 2020,

We are pleased to announce that the Senior Class Trip to Disney has been tentatively rescheduled for June 1-5, 2020. Our travel agent (World Class Vacations) has been working tirelessly with Disney and airline carriers to provide us with a reschedule option. However, as we have witnessed over the past few weeks, things can change rapidly, which may affect our ability to continue with trip plans. As of this writing, the trip is tentatively still on, but the school district has a deadline of April 24 to make a final decision. Therefore, please see the following information regarding trip refunds:

    • If you choose to cancel between now and April 10, you will receive a Full Refund, except for the airfare portion of the trip, which will be given in the form of an airline voucher, good for travel within one year of June 1, 2020.
    • If you remain on the trip list, and the school district cancels the trip by April 24, you will receive a Full Refund, including the airfare portion of the trip.
    • If the school district proceeds with trip plans, and you cancel anytime after April 10, 2020 then a refund will be provided only if you had purchased trip insurance through Travel Guard Insurance.

Please note, refunds could take several weeks, since suppliers like Disney, Universal, etc., need to refund our travel agent, who, in turn, will refund the school district.

It is our sincere hope that we can provide a wonderful experience for the Class of 2020! If you are considering Option #1 above, please contact Mr. Griesbaum (CR North) or Mr. Radick (CR South) immediately. If you decide to remain on the trip list (Option #2), there is no requirement to contact us.

In addition, at this time, Senior Prom is tentatively on as scheduled. Again, please note this could change based on school district, state, and/or federal guidelines.

We are available to answer questions/concerns at any time.

    Sincerely,

    Dan Griesbaum                                               John Radick

    SENIOR PROM –

Because it occurs later in the academic/calendar year, a final decision has not yet been made regarding the May 16th Senior Prom.  At this time, the Senior Prom is tentatively on as scheduled.  Again, please note that this could change based on school district, state, and/or federal guidelines.

Class of 2020: I hope everyone is keeping their hands clean, and six feet of space between yourselves and others.

This is absolutely a new experience for every one of us. The unprecedented closure of all state schools until the end of March has presented us with concerns about the future, and for many of you, one of the most immediate impacts is the Senior Class Trip.

At this time, there is no official word of cancellation of the class trip to Orlando, but let's be honest with ourselves: the world of today is not the world of September 2019. Things have changed. Our administration is in contact with World Class Vacations representatives, and is working with the health and safety of all of us in mind. If you purchased TravelGuard insurance, consider it a last resort: if the trip does not go on April 14th, there is a possibility of the dates being changed to a more suitable time frame.

As most of you are aware, the 30 day window for Fast Passes is open now. Making Fast passes, if you haven't already done so, is not a bad thing to do in the event the trip continues as scheduled. If you have Fast Pass reservations made, and do not use them for whatever reason, there is no harm and no loss.

However, please keep in mind that for dining reservations, there is a financial impact if reservations are not cancelled outside of a 24 hour window prior. The card used to secure the reservation may be charged $10 per person on the reservation. This is something you may need to monitor. If Disney World reopens, and the trip is postponed, it is important you cancel your dining reservations in time.

Stay safe and wash those hands!
