• Welcome to Mr. Nauen's Web page!!!

    Background:
I am a Special Education and Math Teacher at Council Rock South.  I graduated from Kenyon College in 1989 and spent 20 years in finance as a Japanese equity specialist before pursuing a life-long dream to become a teacher.  In  early 2012 I left the finance industry and joined Teach for America, and spent two years teaching in West and North Philadelphia, while simulataneously earning a MS. Education from the University of Pennsylvania, with certifications in Math and Special Education.   I am also certified in Social Studies.  In August of 2014 I joined the Council Rock School District.

I teach Concepts in Math and American Civ 10.    I also am a case manager for students with IEPs.

    Extra-Curricular Responsibilities:
I coach the Chess team.  All players are welcome regardless of age or ability!
