Dear Parents of Team Honor Students,

We welcome you to Team Honor.  We strive to provide positive classroom experiences with a focus on consistent expectations.  We want to develop in our students the feeling of belonging to a group that shares common goals and whose members are supportive of each other.  It is our hope to build a sense of community among parents, students and teachers so that our students strive to do their best academically, socially, and emotionally.  We look forward to an exciting and rewarding school year!

During the first few days of the school year, team and subject expectations will be reviewed with our students.  In addition, we would like to provide the following list of helpful hints and guidelines for a successful school year.  It is important to review our team website, found on the HMS webpage, for supply lists, calendars, and teacher contact information.

Team Procedures and Expectations:

• Lockers – Students may stop at their lockers only at the following specified times
  • Before and after RA
  • After combined periods 1 and 2
  • After combined periods 4 and 5
  • Lunch
  • Before drop
• Passes – Students will be given a team pass to be placed in their agenda book. This pass must be on the student at all times, so that teachers are aware of your child’s whereabouts.
• Cell Phones – As per school policy, cell phones are expected to be off and away at all times. No exceptions.  If you need to contact your child throughout the day, please call the main office.  Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action.

Please send in a wallet sized, recent photo of your child for an activity during the first few days of school!
