STEM Club for Grades 4-6
Our STEM Design Challenge Club is open to our 4th-6th-grade students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students will spend time working with K'nex in hopes of competing in the county-wide STEM Challenge in March. All students will have the opportunity to display their project at the RES/RSA Science Fair.
STEM Club 2019 Meeting Dates:
Monday, January 14
Tuesday, January 22
Monday, January 28
Monday, February 4
Monday, February 11 (RES Competition)
Tuesday, February 19
Monday, February 25 (for students moving on to competition)
Monday, March 4 (for students moving on to competition)
Tuesday, March 5 (if needed; for students moving on to competition)
All sessions will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. in the Gifted Support classroom.
*Special arrangements will be made for students who are in the play and have a conflict. Still sign-up for STEM Club, but attend all assigned play practices.*
The Bucks County Competition will be held at the BCIU as follows:
March 8, 2019*: Grades 4-5
March 15, 2019: Grade 6
*Transportation will be provided to and from the BCIU. However, on March 8th, students who participate will need transportation home from RES as this is a half day for students.
