    Welcome to 7th Grade Social Studies! Throughout this course, we will be exploring the beginnings of Western Civilization. We will cover different Ancient Civilizations like the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine Empires and examine different time periods and their cultures like the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. By utilizing primary and secondary source readings, group projects, class discussions, and interactive technology, we will gain an understanding and appreciation for the early civilizations that shaped much of the way we live today!
