Lisher MA, ATC/LHead Athletic TrainerScott Lisher enters his 11th season as the Head Athletic Trainer of the Golden Hawks. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, specailizing in Athletic Training from Temple University. Scott went on to complete his Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration from Rowan University. While at Rowan, he was a Graduate Assisant Athletic Trainer working primarily with nationally ranked Football, Soccer and Softball teams. Scott is nationally certified by the National Athletic Trainer's Association and holds licenses to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Scott is also a certified examiner for the NATA's national certification exam. Besides working at Council Rock South, Scott also is active with the United States Field Hockey Association, working as an Athletic Trainer in the National Futures Program for the past 6 years. In his time working with the United States Field Hockey Association he has traveled with the Men's National and Junior National teams across the US, British Columbia, and Europe. In his free time, which is not very much, Scott enjoys ice hockey and golf.
John A. Avallone, D.O.Team Orthopedic Physician
Dr. Avallone is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgical Residency at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Avallone also completed rotating internships at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center; Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery; Cooper Medical Center/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey; Orthopaedic Traumatology; Polyclinic Medical Center; General Orthopaedics.
Dr. Avallone is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery-American Osteopathic Board of Osteopathic Surgeons. His memberships include; American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, Philadelphia County of Osteopathic Society and Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society. He is presently the National Board Examiner for the American Board of Osteopathic Medicine; Editorial Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery for the Journal of Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. He serves on the Committee of Orthopaedic Surgery and on the Committee of Sports Medicine of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association and is a Membership Committee Member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics.
George T. Stollsteimer, M.D.Team Orthopaedic Physician
Affiliated with the Makefield Orthopedics Associates, Inc., in Yardley, Pennsylvania, Dr. Stollsteimer received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He subsequently completed a fellowship in shoulder and knee surgery at the Mississippi Sports Medicine Center. DR. Stollsteimer is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. His primary interests are in shoulder instability and rotator cuff dysfunction, as well as knee arthritis, complex knee ligament injuries and meniscus surgery.
