    Green Team Mission Statement

    To promote institutional and personal environmental responsibility within the school community. As well as encourage practices consistent with sustainable living including but not limited to: conservation of resources, waste reduction and recycling, pollution prevention, increased reliance on renewable resources, and to recommend priorities for projects that may help the school district reduce its environmental impact.

    Phillies Red Goes Green Award
    Congratulationsto Gail Reinhart, a third grade teacher at Maureen M. Welch Elementary School. Gail was honored at the Phillies game on April 17th with their Red Goes Green Award for the many programs she offers in her classroom and for the Ecology Club at Maureen M. Welch Elementary School.  Below is a photo of Gail accepting her award at Citizen’s Bank Park
