UPDATE:  The CRNorth Speech and Debate Club has take over the Columbine Garden to keep it beaufiful and blooming--complete with Columbine flowers!  Please visit the garden at the West side entrance.  Thank you, Mr. Briski and the entire Speech and Debate Club!

2018 - We reinvigorated the Columbine Garden!  The Columbine Garden was planted 19 years ago to honor the victims of the Columbine school shooting.  At Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, two teens went on a shooting spree on April 20, 1999, killing 13 people and wounding more than 20 others before turning their guns on themselves and committing suicide. The Columbine shooting was, at the time, the worst high school shooting in U.S. history and prompted a national debate on gun control and school safety.  Unfortunately, Columbine was not the last school shooting, and the debates rage on today. May our Columbine Garden, complete with columbine flowering plants, stand in remembrance of all who've lost and been lost in school shootings.
