Council Rock Art Teacher Receives 2017 PAEA Outstanding Elementary Art Educator Award

Each year the Pennsylvania Art Education Association recognizes outstanding art educators for their exemplary contributions, achievements and service to art education. Council Rock’s Visual Art Coordinator, Beth Lynch, has been selected to receive the 2017 PAEA Outstanding Elementary Art Educator Award. This award is a testament to Beth’s passion for art education and her dedication to promote the arts in Council Rock as well as across the state.

The awards committee noted that Beth’s peers, who nominated her for the award, highlighted her “unceasing efforts and innovative activity in promoting art’s value and importance.” As the Visual Arts Coordinator for Council Rock, Beth leads the department in providing exemplary art education to students. Beth and the teachers in the art department showcase student work through the annual district art show as well as other displays throughout Bucks County.

Congratulations to Beth Lynch on this well-deserved recognition of her contributions to art education. The students of the Council Rock School District benefit from her passion and talents as an art educator and leader in art education.
