FREE & REDUCED FOOD SERVICE INFORMATION

The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition, sent this reminder regarding the Free and Reduced Lunch Program:

“Letters to households with applications must be distributed to the households of children attending the school before the children begin attending school. They may be mailed through USPS, emailed, or included in information packets provided to students.”

Jen Stretch has posted this information on our website, but it is important that families receive this information in multiple ways, included with summer mailings/emails, and in weekly newsletters. COVID waivers are no longer in effect, so we want to ensure that every family needing assistance fills out an application.
