Council Rock recently released draft "guidelines" to help staff, students, and parents navigate the challenges that AI in the classroom presents.

These guidelines represent the work of our ROCK-AI Study Team, and are meant to be flexible, adaptable, and understandable.  

The District understands the dynamic nature of AI as an educational tool, and hopes that these guidelines reflect our Students First. Always. priority while embracing the potential of AI to benefit today's students.

The Special Education Plan is a compliance document required to be submitted to the state every three years. This document does not encompass all of the initiatives and accomplishments of the department but, rather, answers compliance questions posed by the state.

To ensure this compliance document is as thorough and comprehensive as possible, several meetings with stakeholders were held over the course of the prior months to discuss the areas of Least Restrictive Environment (p. 12-16), Positive Behavior Support (p. 18-19), and Special Education Personnel Development (p. 339-354).
