Congratulations to our Council Rock South Marching Band on winning their first competition of the season in an unusual tie for first place with Quakertown HS!   With identical winning scores of 72.8, South also took home awards for Best Overall Effect, Best Visual, and Best Color Guard.  We'll see our friends from Quakertown again this Friday at Walt Snyder Stadium at our Homecoming Football Game.  Council Rock South's next competition will be held on October 3rd at North Penn HS.

Great job to our talented Marching Band.

Council Rock North Students Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

The National Merit program honors students who show exceptional academic ability and the potential to succeed in rigorous college studies. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation on Wednesday announced the names of more than 16,000 semifinalists in the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These high school seniors now have the opportunity to continue competing for about 6,700 National Merit Scholarships worth approximately $24 million, which will be awarded next spring.

Council Rock School District is honored to congratulate Patrick H. and Ronald L. on being named 2026 first place awardees in America250’s America’s Field Trip contest! This national competition celebrates students whose writing and artwork showcase their unique perspectives and creativity. Both Patrick’s and Ronald's submissions earned them a one-of-a-kind trip this summer for a behind-the-scenes experience at some of our country’s iconic landmarks in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. Patrick will be traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana for a captivating adventure through history, culture, and cuisine. Ronald will be traveling through the Badlands of North Dakota exploring the presidential legacy of Theodore Roosevelt and then to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota.
We are proud to see them representing Richboro Elementary and Council Rock on a national stage.

A student from Council Rock South, Elizabeth K. has earned an impresssive Science National Honor Society Student Scholarship! This scholarship celebrates students for their passion for science, academic achievement, leadership, and active participation in their local SNHS chapter.

She is the first student to receive this National Award at South!

Holland Middle School PBIS Committee arrived early to give out free coffee to parents as they dropped off their kids as a way to say "thanks a latte" for everything parents do for their students all year long. Parents were very appreciative of this great treat.
